China's visa authorities abroad will resume issuing all categories of visas starting Wednesday, the move ends a COVID cross-border control measure.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry says areas in China that required no visas prior to the pandemic will revert to visa-free entry.
Foreigners holding visas still within their validity dates will also be able to enter China.
Also starting Wednesday, another 40 countries will be added to a list for group tours. China previously allowed 20 countries in January.

The Chinese Foreign Ministry has announced the expansion of the pilot program of group tours for Chinese citizens also starting from Wednesday.
