As conflict continues to escalate between Russia and Ukraine,
US president Joe Biden has now said that any direct involvement by US and NATO Allies in this conflict will escalate the matter into a fully-fledged World War.
While delivering remarks at the House Democratic conference,
Biden once again ruled out a direct participation of US forces or NATO Allies in the ongoing conflict.
He also criticized everyone clamoring for an active US military presence in Ukraine, saying that it will only intensify the conflict.
The idea that we're going to send in offensive equipment and have planes and tanks and trains going in with American pilots and American crews,
just understand, and don't kid yourself, no matter what you all say, that's called World War III. OK?
Let's get it straight here, guys. That old expression -- "Don't kid a kidder."
Biden, however, said that US and the Western Allies will continue to supply Ukraine with weapons and artilleries to help support the troops combating the Russian forces.
This as the United States and NATO have now said that they are shipping weapons into Ukraine at breakneck speed.
