Hong Kong actor Kenneth Tsang Kong was found dead at a hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui around noon on Wednesday.
Workers at the Kowloon Hotel found the 86-year-old unconscious and contacted the paramedics.
Tsang was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities have yet to ascertain the cause of death.
Reports said Tsang had just returned to Hong Kong from Malaysia and Singapore on Monday.
He was undergoing a 7-day quarantine at the hotel.
He arrived in Kluang Johor from Singapore on April 10, where he spent three days with a few friends.
He visited places like the Fumantang Food Court, Kluang Coffee Shop Televisyen outlet and Foon Yew High School.
He also savoured Cha Kopitiam, durian and many other local food.
Tsang started his career in showbiz in the 1950s, and starred in more than 100 movies and TV series.
He won the Best Supporting Actor award at the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2015.
