In Taijiang, an ocean of spectators crowded around the court for the "Beautiful Village" Basketball League final competition.
The tournament went viral and the internet with more than 100 million views from live broadcasting.
Some came from hundreds of miles away to watch the final, no wonder it's hard to find a seat.
"I've watched live matches on the internet. There are no extra seats here, so I brought one.

I've even afraid to leave right now because I don't want to lose my spot. The games won't end until midnight, I'll keep watching."

All of the players are local residents who make up 16 teams.
Some have even come back from other cities to participate in the league.
These players say it's an honor to compete for their hometown as they strive for glory on the court.
"We are all amateurs. We usually play basketball after work. Basketball is a hobby for us.

Although we are not professionals, we all have dreams to play it on a bigger stage."
Basketball has long been a popular sport in Guizhou.
Since the 1940s, basketball competitions have been held to celebrate good early autumn harvests.
And these games have a distinct local touch you can only find in Guizhou.
Cheerleaders wear traditional costumes and perform during the halftime break, and the prizes for the winning team are goats and oxen.
Many people call these games "The Village BA", inspired by the NBA in the United States.
Yao Ming, chairman of the Chinese Basketball Association and former NBA athlete, says the event is much more than a game.
He said the grand festival gathering villagers around the court in the spirit of community fun.
