Chinese diver Quan Hongchan claimed her first gold medal with an overwhelming victory in the women's 10m platform event today,
as she made her international competitive debut at the Tokyo Olympics at the age of 14.

Quan collected full marks in three out of five dives, and led from start to finish.
She tallied a total of 466.2 points, with her teammate Chen Yuxi coming second with 425.4 points.
Melissa Wu of Australia won bronze with 371.40 points.
