Receptionist: I can check you in over here.

Receptionist: Shouldn't be a problem. Room 8 is available.

Penelope: Thank you.

Receptionist: You don't want the room?

Penelope: No, I, I want the room.

Receptionist: Then would you mind coming back here so I can check you in? Thank you. And how will you be paying for your room? Thank you, Jessica.
前台：那麻烦您过来，办一下入住手续好吗？谢谢。请问房费怎么付？谢谢，杰西卡。

他住进了戒酒治疗中心。
eg. Check us in at the hotel and wait for my call.
去宾馆替我们办理好入住手续，然后等我的电话。
2. Would you mind doing...?
（征求对方同意或者请求对方做某事时的礼貌说法）你是否介意……；此句型常用于表示请求，意思是“请你做……你是否介意？、请你做……好吗？”，是一种比较客气的表达方式。
eg. Would you mind waiting outside for a moment?
您不介意在外面等一会吧？
eg. Would you mind turning off the light in the room?
请你把房间里的灯关掉好吗？
eg. Would you mind repeating that? I didn't quite catch on.
