Olive: I handled primarily recording artists but when I initially trained, I trained in film PR, so I can do that too. I, uh... took the last six or seven years off. I was raising my daughter in New Jersey. But I kept abreast, so... I'm pretty comfortable jumping back in. What else can I tell you guys? Uh... That's it. I can start, you know, right away. You guys all right?
奥利弗：以前我做的基本是唱片发行方面，但最初我学过影片发行，所以这方面也可以胜任的。我，嗯，最近六七年不做了，在新泽西抚养我的女儿。但我没有落伍，所以……重拾旧业毫无问题。你们还想知道什么？呃……就这样，你们看，我立刻就能开始，你们没问题吧？
Man A: Are you the Olive Trinke? The one who used to work at Mandel/Kirschner?

Reynolds: Son of a bitch!

Man A: Yes! I told you, Reynolds! Pay up!

Reynolds: I got it.
雷诺兹：给你。
Olive: Am I missin' somethin'?
奥利弗：怎么回事？
Reynolds: Nah, nah, he just bet me you were the Olive Trinke, the one who pulled "The Fresh Prince".
雷诺兹：哈，我们刚才打赌你是不是奥利弗·里克，贬低“新鲜王子”的人。
Olive: They named it?
奥利弗：他们这么讲？
Man A: Of course! Are you kidding? You're a legend, man! You did what every flack only dreams about doing!
男甲：当然！你开玩笑吧？伙计，你已经是传奇人物了！你做了所有广告人梦想的事情！

1. keep abreast
并行，并肩
eg. We can't keep abreast of the developing situation unless we study harder.
我们如果不加强学习，就会跟不上形势。
eg. We should keep abreast with the present state of science.

2. used to do
过去常常做；
eg. I used to get up early and take an hour's walk before breakfast.

eg. Women used to think they were on the shelf at 30.
过去女人一到30岁就认为是过了结婚年龄。
eg. Things ain't what they used to be.
现在情况不比从前了。
注意：be used to doing表示习惯做某事；
eg. He is used to eating out all the time.
他已经习惯在外面吃饭了。
3. pay up
全部还清，付清
eg. We claimed a refund from the association, but they would not pay up.
我们要求该协会退款，但是他们不肯付钱。
eg. He'll never pay up unless you get tough with him.
你如果不对他硬点，他是决不会把钱付清的。
4. flack
n. 宣传，广告
eg. Have you copped a lot of flack over this?
在这一点上你做了很多宣传么?
eg. I scarf down my breakfast/lunch as a flack from the Nature Conservancy explains how everything works.
