第一 地道短语
stand rooted to the spot
1 解词释义
Root的本义是“生根”，spot是指“地点”。此语的字面意思是“想生了根一样站在那里”，比喻“固定不动”“站在原地不动”等。

第三、口语句型
1. It+系动词+who do something.
指点迷津：这是强调句式，对主语进行强调。
句型操练：It was Mary who broke the flower vase.

2 Somebody must have done something.
指点迷津：这个句式是情态动词must在虚拟语气中的用法，表示对过去的事情的非常肯定的猜测。
句型操练：He must have been sick yesterday. He might come back to work today.
