【语法用法】
suppose后可加that引导的从句，且句中that可省略。
I suppose (that) he is about forty.

suppose和supposing在句子中常表示一样的意思。

但suppose在句子开头属于祈使语气，而supposing是现在分词，且美国人比较少用supposing；

assume, presume, suppose, guess, postulate
