An armed gunman entered a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida early Sunday and killed 49 people. The American-born gunman, 29-year-old Omar Mateen, called 911 during the attack and pledged allegiance to ISIS. After a three-hour standoff, the police used an armoured vehicle to break into the nightclub and kill the gunman. Sunday’s attack was the deadliest mass shooting in US history.
