今天是2012年12月29日，星期六，直至到今天为止，2012年已经接近尾声，已经进入倒计时了。今天我们一起来学习一个比较应景的表达。

报道说的是，“十一”黄金周已近尾声，各大旅行社纷纷调价，截至昨天，国内旅游路线的降价幅度达到了平均30％。

“进入尾声”、“接近尾声”是中文中十分常见的说法，意思是“即将结束”。在英文中，我们可用approach its conclusion来表达“某事接近尾声”。

这学期已近尾声，你对自己这学期的表现有何评价？

Conclusion有“结尾”的意思。
