The Chinese National Bureau of Statistics has released its latest report on the nation's economy and it shows that economic development has slowed to 6% in a third quarter of 2019 year-on-year, the slowest in almost three decades. The GDP for the first three quarters was 6.2% year-on-year. Chinese authorities say economic development remained stable despite the mounting challenges both at home and abroad.
