A senior White House trade adviser says Huawei will remain barred from developing 5G networks in the United States. He said the US has only allowed the sale of chips to the Chinese telecom company which are considered lower tech items that do not impact national security. Earlier Huawei's founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei said the US’ decision to relaxed the man on the company's equipment will not have much impact on its business. He said however that Huawei is willing to continue to buy products from American companies.
