At Tuesday's summit of "5G is on", Huawei said it has so far gained 50 5G commercial contracts and shipped more than 150,000 base stations. And since the first half of this year many countries including South Korea, the UK, Switzerland, Italy and Kuwait have commercially launched 5G networks. Huawei has built 2/3 of the world's commercial 5G networks. Meanwhile Huawei’s smart phone mate 20X has obtained the first license to access to China's 5G network according to the company's official social media account.
