【语法用法】
动词grant(授予，同意)可跟双宾语。

作连接词引导从句时，granted与granting意思相同，都表示“假定”。
Granted that he said so, he may not keep his promise.
Granting that he said so, he may not keep his promise.
假定他这么说了，他也未必会守承诺。
take for granted是固定表达，为习惯用语，指“将...看作理所当然”，如to take nothing for granted(不把任何事物看作是理所应当的)。
