【词义辨析】
aid，assist，help

help: 最普通用词，含义广泛。指一般性的或迫切需要的帮助，侧重积极地为他人提供物质、精神或其他方面的帮助。

help表示“帮助”时，后接不定式或宾语和不定式，但绝不不可接动名词。

美国人常将句中的to可省略。
