一.excuse:vt. 原谅,辩解 n. 理由,辩解,借口
【词义辨析】
cause,reason,excuse
cause: 指直接导致事情发生的原因,与所发生的事有因果关系。
reason: 强调指从逻辑推理上得出的结论性原因,不是直接说明起因。
excuse: 指为自己辩解,希望得到谅解时所提出的种种理由,是借口性的理由。
【例句用法】
1.Excuse me, can I get past, please?
劳驾,能让我过去吗?
2.Excuse me, but I must say you are completely wrong.

【词语用法】
1.follow可表示“在……之后”,常作及物动词,后面不需要再加介词after。

2.as follows属于固定的习惯用语,在以词组形式出现的时候,follow不可以单数形式出现,不管句子主语是单数或复数,只可以as follows的形式出现。
