【语法用法】
deny所在的句子在句子结构不同下也可表示相同的意思。
He denies her nothing.
She is denied nothing (by him).
他对她没有否认任何东西。
deny后面接名词或动名词作宾语，不接动词不定式。
He denied having done so.
他否认自己这样做过。
deny后面也可以接that引导的从句。
He denied that she was to blame.

句中从周一到周五那个人是“病人”，但不是patient。
patient作名词时，是可数名词。
