Finally, a piece of history revisiting. 2013 marks the 50th anniversary of the assassination of US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. He was born in 1917 into one of America's most famous political families. His grandfather was the former Boston Mayor and his father the business tycoon Joseph P. Kennedy, became US ambassador to London.

Just before 12:30 p.m., the motorcade slipped out of the glass and steel canyons of downtown and zigzagged toward Elm Street and a drab, seven-story brick building.
