notice作名词表示“通知”时，短语at short notice中的at在美式英语中可用on代替；
give notice或have notice一般指离职或迁让的通知：
当后面跟不定式，notice前面可加冠词a。

think, deliberate, meditate, muse, reason, reflect, speculate
这些动词均有“思考、判断、思索”之意。

deliberate指缓慢、按部就班地作仔细而认真的思考或判断。
meditate语气较强，指认真地长时间集中精力进行思考。
