determine后常加不定式，有时加on，upon和动名词。

determined是过去时，表示“当时决定”，had determined表示“那时已经决定”，was determined表示“有决心的”。要注意前面两个都表示的是“一时的”，不可以与for a long time等表示时间段的词连用；
determine后可接that从句中，注意使用虚拟语气。
