The Taliban is denying that it has agreed to hold direct talks for the Afghan government. On Saturday, Afghanistan’s state minister for peace affairs said a 15-member delegation representing the government would meet the Taliban in Norway in the next two weeks. A Taliban spokesman rejected the statement, saying, intra-Afghan talks will happen only after foreign forces leave the country.
