Turkey says it thinks the murder of a Saudi journalist was planned in a quote savage manner. It says its investigations for answers is also complicated. Pressure is growing from Western allies for an explanation and the location of the body. After weeks of denials Saudi officials conceded Jamal Khashoggi was killed in a rogue operation inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. 18 Saudis have so far been arrested while five leading officials have been dismissed. Meanwhile the Saudi King and the Crown Prince offered their condolences to Khashoggi’s family.
