It's the first time the Rouhani has been summoned by Parliament in his five years in power. The president said Iran is still waiting for the aid promised by the European Union to help prop up the flagging 2015 Iran nuclear deal but added that if the European powers cannot come through Iran could pursue other options.
You said that we only have two roads to choose from. One is to stay in the nuclear deal. The other is to quit. But actually we have a third road. Earlier I spoke with the French president on the phone I told him that if Europe is unable to implement its promise I will declare our new road. That is the third road.
