1. round here：这里周边，附近这儿

【典型范例1】 There is no one round here who would want to wed a poor girl like me.

这里周围人家没有人愿意跟一个象我这样的穷姑娘结婚。

2. interested in：对......感兴趣

【典型范例1】 During puberty, young people become more interested in sex.

3.for one moment：一会儿

【典型范例1】He stood for one moment, his hands rigid at his sides.

4. would like to：愿意，想

5. tuck away：把…隐藏;把…隐匿

6.make out:力图说成；努力证明

【英文释义】If you make out that something is the case or make something out to be the case, you try to cause people to believe that it is the case.

【典型范例1】They were trying to make out that I'd actually done it.

【典型范例2】 I don't think it was as glorious as everybody made it out to be.

2.【语意表述】让某人久等了。

【句型模板】Somebody keeps someone waiting for a long time.

【指点迷津】keep作为使役动词，后面跟的宾语的补足语要使用现在分词，即：keep somebody doing something.

【句型操练】I got mad at the receptionist in the end as she had kept me waiting for a long time.

【句型出处】Uh-uh, don't come all high and mighty with me.

3.【语意表述】某人尽快做某事。

【句型模板】Somebody does something as fast as he can.

【指点迷津】as+副词+someone can表示“尽......的”。例如：as possible as you can（尽可能地）。

【句型操练】Fetch a doctor as fast as you can.

尽快找来一位大夫。

【句型出处】Fetch Mr Carson as fast as you can.

4.【语意表述】劝别人找别的想法，不要按现在的想法。

【句型模板】Somebody gets another think coming.

【指点迷津】think在这里做名词用，意思是“想法”。Get在这里是使役动词，意思是“是，让”。Get another think coming的意思就是让另外一个想法来，意即：想别的东西。

【句型操练】Don’t explain anymore and I don’t buy your story. You had better get another think coming.

别再解释了，我不会相信的，想别的法子让我相信吧。

【句型出处】If you think you're tucking me away somewhere you've got another think coming.

5. 【语意表述】某人介意某人做某事，不愿意，不同意做某事。

【句型模板】Somebody minds doing something.

【指点迷津】用mind来表示“介意，同意，在乎”的意思时，后面接动词的话，要使用动名词形式，即为：mind doing something。表示否定的话，在doing的前面直接加上否定词not。

【句型操练1】Did she mind not getting the job?

她没得到那份工作是不是很失意?

【句型操练2】Would you mind helping me?
