1. normal

双语释义：usual state, level, standard, etc

[U.C.] 常态；正常；标准

典型例句：Her temperature is above/below normal.

2. arrival

双语释义：act of arriving

[U.C. ] 到达；抵达

典型例句：Cheers greeted the arrival of the Queen.

讲解：这个固定的动词短语科林斯词典的的解释如下：If you take over a job or role or if you take over, you become responsible for the job after someone else has stopped doing it，可以译为：接管，接手，接任等。

1966 年，帕斯特·艾伯茨接替他担任主管市长。

3. look after

讲解：这是一条动词短语，该词语在科林斯词典的解释为：If you look after someone or something, you do what is necessary to keep them healthy, safe, or in good condition，可以翻译为：照料；照顾；照管等。

例句：I love looking after the children.

People don't look after other people's property in the same way as they look after their own.

4. in quite a state：处于糟糕的状态中

讲解：in a state是表示“在某种状态中”，在不定冠词前面加上quite这个副词，就表示这种状况不好，糟糕，差劲。
