正文文本
Terrified residents ran from stores and homes as a deadly earthquake rocked Puerto Rico. The ground shook at 4:30 this morning. A 6.4 magnitude earthquake. At a local Walmart items flew off the shelves as employees scramble to safety. Terrifying aftershocks followed. The devastation seen from the skies. Puerto Rican officials calling the quake the most destructive the country seen in a century.
They say it caused at least one fatality. 73 year-old man was killed at home when a wall fell on him. Churches and schools were leveled. Elderly residents had to be carried from their beds. Omar Vasquez and his infant son one of hundreds displaced. Everybody is in a state of alert. Until this morning this Catholic Church in the small town of Guan iya was pristine. But now bricks in shambles on the ground, towers rip right off the roof and this is just one of many cultural sites devastated this evening.
