　　1973年7月20夜，李小龙在笔架山道碧华园女影星丁佩家中再次晕倒，被送往伊利莎伯医院急救，当晚11点30分被宣布死亡。翌晨，消息传出，震惊了香港和世界。

　　1973年7月25日，李小龙遗体在九龙殡仪馆出殡，香港市民万人空巷。

　　1973年7月30日，李小龙遗体在美国西雅图比特沃夫殡仪馆举行第二次葬礼，随后在西雅图湖景墓园下葬，李小龙生前亲友与高足詹姆斯·科本、史蒂夫·麦昆、丹·伊诺山度、木村武之、李振辉、秦彼德等为李小龙抬棺送别。

　　1973年8月29日，影片《龙争虎斗》在洛杉矶好莱坞中国大戏院隆重首映，再次引起轰动。

　　1973年9月24日，香港荃湾裁判署第二法庭，经过六天的“死因研究”后，由陪审团对李小龙的死因进行了最后裁定——“死于不幸”。
