6 The Truck Driver
6 老卡车司机
An old truck driver was eating in a bar when three very large, leathered bikers walked in with their helmets in hands. The first walked up to the old man, inserted his cigarette into the old man's bacon pie and then took a seat at the counter. The second walked up to the old man, spat into the old man's lemon juice and noodles, and then he also took a seat at the counter. The third walked up to the old man, turned over the old man's saucer and then he took a seat at the counter.
一个老卡车司机正在就把吃饭，这时三个身材高大、穿着皮衣的骑摩托车的人，手里拿着头盔走了进来。第一个走到老人面前，把他的烟头塞进了老人的熏肉馅饼里，然后在柜台前坐了下来。第二个人也走到老人眼前，在老人的柠檬汁和面条里吐了口唾沫，也在柜台前坐下。第三个人走到老人面前，把老人的托盘扣过来，也在柜台前坐下。
Without any action of protection the passive old man quietly left the diner. Shortly thereafter, one of the bikers said to the waitress, “Humph, not much of a man, was he?”
这个顺和的老人一点也没有反抗，平静地离开了餐厅。老人离开后不久，其中一个骑摩托车的人岁服务员说，“哼，一点都不像男人，对吗？”
The waitress replied, “Not much of a truck driver either, he just backed his truck over three motorcycles.”
服务员回答:“也一点不像是卡车司机。他刚刚把他的卡车从三辆摩托车上倒过去了。”
