Have you got the answer? It is That explains it. The Chinese for it is—— 原来如此。or 我这才明白。 Here are some short sentences well-picked from hit American films or TV series. Let’s take a look at:

1.Oh, okay, that explains it. I got a call at two two in the morning.

（哦，原来如此呀，难怪我凌晨2点钟接到电话。）

Tip: to get a call means to receive a call.

2.That explains it. You have a major crush on her.

（原来是这样啊，你彻底被她迷住了。）

Tip: to have a rush on sb is an idiom which means to have feelings for sb, or love sb. For another example:

Our English teacher seems to have a crush on Mary who is our classmate.

（译文：我们的英语老师似乎对班上同学Mary有点意思了。）

In addition, here is a sentence which is similar to saying That explains it. It is It all adds up. For example:

1.It all adds up. You aced it in the final exam because you had cheated in it.

（译文：原来如此，你在期末考试得满分是因为你作弊而得到的。）

2.It all adds up. She has done anyone else such an unscrupulous shot in the eye because she is the boss’s pet.
（译文：哦，我这才明白，她如此肆无忌惮地恶意中伤每个人，是因为她是老板的宠物。）
