用餐过后,我现在继续跟您聊聊和get on one's case或者是be on one's case意思相同或相近的表达法。
第三、我们可以说find fault with sb/sth。In English, it means "to look for and discover mistakes in sb/sht".
1: My boss is alway finding fault with my work and I have got used to it, so I always turn a deaf ear to it.
1:Turn a deaf ear to sth意思是充耳不闻。例如:I didn't expect him to turn a deaf ear to his comrades' criticism. I have talked with him to ask him not be be late for work and he seems to turn a deaf ear my warning.
2:Get used to sth(doing sth)意思是对某事惯,对做某事习惯。例如:Once you get used to regular exercise, you'll feel bad when you don't do it. Get used to it, Mary. I'm off burgers for good. (备注be off +食物 不吃 for good 永远 Eg. I am off bananas for good.
He is always getting in my hair when I am working. You are always telling lies and I have had enough of your excuses .
2:There is not a single thing about her that one can find fault with.
第一、定语从句是that one can find fault with,这个定语从句的先行词是thing,在从句中作介词with的宾语。
This is the doctor we are talking about. This is the doctor about whom we are talking. 下面的说法是错误的——There is not a single thing about her with which one can find fault .
See you later!
