【本阶段复习总结】
We've learnt ways of telling someone to keep a secret recently. And today let's have a summary.
1 Keep your mouth shut. 跟任何人说都不行。
2 Not a word. 什么多别说。不要再提。
3 My lips are sealed. 我会管好自己的嘴巴的。
4 I'm not one to kiss and tell. 我不是个泄露秘密（背信弃义）的人。
5 Mum's word. 别对任何人说。

In addition, we've learned tow sentences which means something private is told by somebody and many people know it . They are: 1 The cat's out of the bag. 秘密别揭穿了。2 Let's get this out in the open. 敞开了说吧。我们将之公布于众吧。

First, let's put it into practice. Please translate the following sentences into English. 1 我想把所有的事情公布于众。2 每个人都有秘密。很高兴，你的秘密被公之于众了。 Think it over and the answers are about to be given later. The suggestive answers are: 1 I wanted to get everything out in the open. 2 Everybody's got a secret. Just be glad yours is out in the open. 在为人处世中，幸灾乐祸可不好。What's more, pay attention to a sentence structure: “Something is out in the open”which is different from"Ge t something out in the open. " It emphasize a state which is that the secret's been known to others. But "Ge t something out in the open. " which is emphasize an action that is that a secret will be uncover and make it known to someone else . 在这里强调一点的是：Something is out in the open。是这个秘密已经被别人知道了。而Ge t something out in the open.强调动作，把着个秘密讲出来，这个秘密将被人知道。

【Grammar】working here 是现在分词短语做原因状语。该句可以转换为原因状语从句：I'm unhappy because I am working here.

【Translation】我们怎样做才能使你留下来呢？
【Key words】 "Get" means "persuade, make somebody or something to do something ". 意思是：使，让（某人）做（某事），说服某人做某事。For example : I couldn't get this car to start this morning. 今早我发动不了我的车。He got his sister to help him with his homework.他说服了他姐姐帮助他做家庭作业。Additionally, there's a phrase-get somebody or something doing something . Get 加上宾语加上现在分词（短语）。For example: Can you really get your old car going again? 你真的能是你的老爷车跑起来吗？It's not hard to him talking-the problem is stopping him（=He is good at talking.）. 让他开口不难，难的是让他住口。
【Grammar】1 这是个含有定于从句的复合句。主句是Is there anything，从句是： I can do to get you stay。先行词是不定代词something，指代物，而且在从句中作宾语，我们可以选择的是表物的关系代词“which” 和“that”, 由于先行词是不定代词，只能用which, 在从句中充当作宾语成分可以省去。
2 从句 I can do to get you stay中，to get you to stay 是动词不定时做目的状语，而这个动词不定式中又有一个动词不定式：to stay做get后面的宾语you 的补足语。
