接招：在上面的2个例句中，都用到了同一个词语：kill the fatted calf。这是一条动词性习惯用语。短语中的kill是杀的意思，fatted是多脂肪的肥胖的的意思，calf则是小牛的意思，kill the fatted calf意思是杀一头肥胖的小牛，用以比喻热情款待设宴欢迎之义。要表述盛情款待某人，在短语后加上介词for，然后再接表示人的名词或代词，即：kill the fatted calf for sb。
