我们先来听2个句子：

例句-1：The boy in my club are a great bunch of guys. They all speak the same language.

例句-2：In a small office like ours, it's very important to have a partner who speaks the same language.

接招：在我们刚才听到的2个例句中，我们都可以听到同一个词语：speak the same language。这个短语的意思是：(for two or more people)to communicate in a shared language. 例如：These two people don't speak the same language and need an interpreter. 这2个人不会说同一语言所以需要一个翻译。那么就此基本意思有其比喻义，比喻义为：（for people）to have similar ideas, tastes, etc. 人们有着相同或相似的思想，品味等等，就是我们中文中说的有共同语言。短语中的speak可以用talk来替换，即：talk the same language。

下面我们再来看2个例子来熟悉这个短语的意思和运用这个短语。

例句-1：Jane and Jack get along very well. They really speak the same language about almost everything.

Jane和Jack相处得非常融洽。他们几乎在每件事情上都意见一致。

注解：get along well：相处融洽，相处友好

例句-2：Bob and his father didn't speak the same language when it comes to politics.

Bob 和他的父亲一谈政治问题，他们就谈不拢了。

注解：it comes to.... 一说什么问题，一进入到什么话题

最后我们回到刚才听到的2个例句中来看看它们的意思。

例句-1：The boy in my club are a great bunch of guys. They all speak the same language.

这句话的意思是：我那个俱乐部的孩子们棒极了，他们有共同语言。

例句-2：In a small office like ours, it's very important to have a partner who speaks the same language.

这句话的意思是：在我们这样一个小公司里，能有一个志同道合的伙伴是非常重要的事情。

注解：a partner who speaks the same language：志同道合的人
