1. assistant to sb.：某人的助理

讲解：表示某人的助理，assistant后面的介词要用to，不能用其它的。

例句：He worked as an assistant to the President.

他当过总统助理。

2. back up：（资料）备份

讲解：此语是动词性短语，用连字符将动词

例句：I make sure I still keep a back-up copy on my office PC.

3. walk by：走过，路过

例句：The girls walk by on thin legs.
