Rundown在这里作名词，指针对某一方面的“简明扼要的概括和纲要”，尤其指口头的简述。a rundown of the company也就是口头简单扼要地介绍一下公司的概况，用在职场上比introduction更加明确。另外需要注意的是，rundown中间既没有空格也没有短横线，如果写成run-down，词义和词性就大不同了。Run-down是形容词，用来形容场景和环境的萧索破败，或者形容人筋疲力尽。
