1. feel the same way
They feel the same way about the matter.
I feel the same way and hope it stays fine the year round.
2. be a rough week
通常这个句子“It is a rough day.”
3. last year
A list has been drawn up of words we learned last year.
I had an amusing experience last year.
4. feel like
I feel like catching cold.
I feel like I'm knocking my head against the wall.
I shall feel like a precious fool.
5. on the way in
由于in在这里是副词,省略了to,那么类似结构还有one the way back(在回来的途中),on the way home(在回家的途中)。
例句:I was held up on the way and so I was late.
I happened to see Peter on the way to the bookstore yesterday.
What about leaving it here and collecting it on the way back?
6. ruin one’s moment
7. come join/go eat
实际上,come join相当于come to join,go eat相当于go to eat。
11. popular table
12. get an invite
精解:invite在本段台词中出现了2词,第一次是invite me to have lunch with you,这里是做动词用。
Did you get an invite to Mary’s party?
I have got another invite to paying a visit in London.
