歌手简介
后来，流行歌手Sean Kingston在myspace上发现了这名之前仅仅依靠笔记本电脑和耳麦进行录音的大学生。起初IYAZ对Kingston的留言表示了怀疑，他不敢相信一位巨星会对默默无闻的他伸出橄榄枝，于是他并未理睬Kingston。但Kingston并未停止对IYAZ的‘追求’，在又收到两三条留言后，IYAZ觉得是时候回应了。不久后，IYAZ与Kingston所在的Beluga Heights制作公司（隶属于时代华纳）签了约，现在两人是形影不离的好友兼音乐伙伴。yaz在维京群岛的Tortola岛上出生长大，出身音乐家庭的他本来是把音乐当作爱好，只在MySpace网站上展示了自己的一些作品，没想到他的网页恰好被美国人气歌星Sean Kingston看到。之后Sean Kingston给Iyaz写了好几封邮件却都没见他回复，因为Iyaz根本不敢相信真的是大名鼎鼎的Sean Kingston从美国给他写信要求见面签约。
好事多磨，在Iyaz终于回信给Sean Kingston之后，他随即被介绍签约华纳旗下的唱片公司，之后马上推出的首张单曲Replay（《重放》）就在美国Billboard流行单曲榜拿到了第一名的优秀成绩。2010年Iyaz强势推出的新歌Solo
