天主教是个极度保守的宗教，一旦觉得自己的言行举止或思想有罪（sin），就会去向神职人员忏悔（confess)。 "screw"是栺“将(灯泡)转人”，也有"性交”的意思。所以，当他们觉得描述自已行为的词汇也有“性交”的含义时.就觉得自己是有罪的，所以其中一个一边装电灯泡，一边向另外一个忏悔，因此装电灯泡需要两个神职人员。
