改天------Take a rain check

大家好，欢迎来到小强英语！当有人对你发出邀请时，你因故不能现在接受或者不想现在接受，往往就会说：改天吧。那么，英语当中我们怎样表达这种“延期接受邀请”的意愿呢？Take a rain check. If you say you will take a rain check on an offer or suggestion, you mean that you do not want to accept it now, but you might accept it at another time目前无法接受，但可日后接受的邀请或建议。我们来看一下例句：

Sorry, I can't make a dinner tonight. Can I take a rain check?
抱歉我今晚没有办法和你共进晚餐, 我们改天再聚好吗?

That sounds special, but we're all very busy. We'll take a rain check.
听起来很特别， 但我们太忙，咱们改天吧.
