Guinness is a popular Irish alcoholic drink famous throughout the world. It is a type of beer called a drystout. It has a distinctive burnt flavor from the use of roasted barley in the brewing process. The company was founded in 1759 by Arthur Guinness at the St. James's Gate Brewery, Dublin.
