Compare: vt. & vi. 比较，对照

It is hard to compare. 很难比较。

It's interesting to compare these two cars. 比较这两辆车是有趣的。

Compared with: 与……相比

Our price is reasonable compared with that in the international market. 我们的价格和国际市场的价格相比还是合理的。

Compared with him, I am a bungler. 与他相比,我只能算是一个笨拙的人。

Compared with English, French is easier. 和英语相比，法语简单些。

Compared with our competitors, we offer better post-sale service. 和我们的竞争对手相比，我们提供更好的售后服务。

Comparison: n. 比较，对照；经比较得出的结论；类似，相似

My garden doesn't stand comparison with his. 我的花园无法和他的相比。

They make a comparison of New York to a beehive. 他们把纽约比作一个蜂巢。

In comparison with…: 与……相比较

I’m fat in comparison with him. 与他相比，我胖。

He’s rather dull in comparison with others. 和别人比较起来，他相当迟钝。

In comparison with women of my age, I think I have a sharp figure（S-shape）, at least that’s what my husband says to me. 与和我同龄的女人相比，我觉得自己的身材很不错（S形），至少我丈夫是这么对我说的。
