这是真的。
There was once a daughter of a tolerably well-off family in the country who was very lovely and sought out by many matchmakers, although nothing had come of their efforts.

That year, she was only fifteen or sixteen years old.

One spring evening, she stood by the back door, hands resting on a peach tree, she remembered that she was wearing a moon-white tunic.
是春天的晚上，她立在后门口，手扶着桃树。

She had seenthe young man who lived across the way, but they had never spoken.
她记得她穿的是一件月白的衫子。对门住的年轻人同她见过面，可是从来没有打过招呼的，
He walked toward her,came to a halt close by, and said softly:
他走了过来。离得不远，站定了，轻轻的说了一声：
“So you’re here, too?”
“噢，你也在这里吗？”
She did not say anything, and he did not say more.
她没有说什么，他也没有再说什么，
They stood for a moment and then went their separate ways.
站了一会，各自走开了。

“So you’re here, too?”

张爱玲

中国现代作家，本名张煐。1920年09月30日出生在上海公共租界西区的麦根路313号的一幢建于清末的仿西式豪宅中。张爱玲的家世显赫，祖父张佩纶是清末名臣，祖母李菊耦是朝廷重臣李鸿章的长女。张爱玲一生创作大量文学作品，类型包括小说、散文、电影剧本以及文学论著，她的书信也被人们作为著作的一部分加以研究。1944年张爱玲结识作家胡兰成与之交往。1973年，张爱玲定居洛杉矶，1995年09月08日，张爱玲的房东发现她逝世于加州韦斯特伍德市罗彻斯特大道的公寓，终年75岁，死因为动脉硬化心血管病。
