It used to be that Chinese parents wanted to send their kids abroad for postgraduate degrees. Then it became undergraduate. Now, more and more parents seek to send their children to high school and even earlier. However, it seems that, according to former Peking University Dean, many parents choose the US based on misconceptions of the US academic environment.
