我们常说到的“爱某人爱得神魂颠倒了”就是crazy about someone。To be crazy about someone means to be very enthusiastically fond of someone。译为：狂热地喜欢某人，狂热地爱某人。我们通过下面的例句来熟悉它的意思和把握它的用法：

1. Ann is crazy about John. He's crazy about her, too. I'm mad about their new song.（Ann深爱着John，而John也深爱着Ann。我热衷于他们的新歌。）

解析短语：be mad about表示“狂热于某人或某物”。例如：She was very mad about the fine view of the West Lake.（她非常迷恋西湖的优美风光。）He's mad about his biology teacher, but it's only puppy-love.（他迷恋着生物学老师, 但那只不过是孩子的一片痴情罢了。）

2. He has a solid marriage and three kids he's crazy about.（他的婚姻很稳定，有三个孩子，他都很宠爱。

解析语法：he's crazy about是省略了关系代词whom的限定性定语从句，先行词kids，在句中做介词about的宾语，只能用关系代词whom。所以可以这样说：about whom he's crazy。

3. That boy is so crazy about Rosaline that he can't think straight!（那个男孩深深为Rosaline疯狂，他已经无法清楚地思考了！）

解析短语：think straight的意思是“思路清晰地考虑问题，清楚地思考”。例如：I can still think straight, see, even in all this mess. And I can remember it all, like it was yesterday.（我头脑清醒着呢。 你瞧，哪怕一片狼藉，我一切都还记得清清楚楚，仿佛就在昨天。）

Be crazy about后面可以接somebody，也可以接something，表示“热衷于做某事”“热衷于某物”。我们来看下面的句子：
She is crazy about classical music .（她对古典音乐很痴迷。）
