Darryl Worley最初只是在CLUB和酒吧里演唱，1999年，才签约 “DreamWorksNashville”，发行首支单曲"when you need my love"，2000年中发行首张专辑《Hard Rain DonT Last》，即时风靡美国各大电台。在2002年《I Miss My Friend》取得骄人的成绩后，Darryl Worle似乎就搭乘上了幸运之舟，在惊涛骇浪中当起了开路先锋。
　　之后又发行了《Have You Forgotten》专辑，在专辑榜上数周力胜诸强，在乡村单曲榜上也是连续5周蝉联了冠军。单曲“Have You Forgotten”唱出了世界人民对和平的呼唤，被收录纪念911专辑中，也让Darryl Worley再次大放光彩，更加巩固Worley的乐坛地位。
　　从2000年至今，他已经发行五张录音室专集，其中四张是在梦工厂下发行。有15首单曲等上美国Billboard畅销乡村音乐榜单，包括三首达到第一名的"I Miss My Friend", "Have You Forgotten?", and "Awful, Beautiful Life"在2003年6月，他首次夺得乡村乐界最高荣誉Grand Ole Opry奖。 "Have You Forgotten"，一首有感于911事件的曲子，被乡村音乐协会做为了当年的年度代表歌曲。
