I've had an amazing couple of years. I got to play these two remarkable women. And I want to thank my beautiful agent Hilda Dallas. I've known her since I was fifteen. And they really brought the script to me, helped me to hang on to it. My gosh! Ok, who comes next? OK, I want to thank Richard Yates, the late great Richard Yates for writing this remarkable novel and for creating a role for a woman that I just can't believe it came to my way and falling to my hands like this. I want to thank remarkable cast and our crew, they all know who they are.

美国电影金球奖（Golden Global Award）始于1943年，由好莱坞外国记者协会主办，是美国影视界最重要的奖项之一，金球奖共设24个奖项，金球奖的被提名者名单通常是在圣诞节前公布，颁奖晚会则在1月中旬举行。金球奖颁奖晚会的举办地点曾多次变动，不过近几年似乎已经固定在贝弗利册的希尔顿酒店。作为每年第一个颁发的影视奖项，金球奖被许多人看作是奥斯卡奖的风向标。近十几年来二者结果的对比似乎也能很好地证明这一点。
金球奖应该是美国最经营有方的影视奖项之一，组织颁发这个奖的好莱坞外国记者协会在联邦政府登记的性质属于——慈善基金协会，作为一个“非营利性组织”，该协会的收入是免税的。2009年凯特·温斯莱特凭借《革命之路》获得第66届金球奖最佳女主角。
