一.angry：adj. 生气的，愤怒的 adj. (风雨等)狂暴的，（伤口）发炎的
【词义辨析】
angry，indignant，mad
angry: 侧重以愤怒的表情、激烈的言辞或威胁的目光等来表达感情。
indignant: 侧重愤怒是有充分理由和正当的。
mad: 多用于非正式文体和讲话中，与angry意义相近。
【词语用法】
指“对人生气”时，angry with和angry的表达意思相同，但是前者的用法更普遍。而指“对事物生气”时，只可用angry at和angry about，不可用angry with；
angry后可接that从句。
She is angry that he has not answered her letter.
她因他不给他回信而生他的气。
【例句用法】
1.His imperious look makes us angry.
他那飞扬跋扈的样子令我们生气。
2.Don't be angry over such trivial matters.

【词语用法】
love在表示“恋爱的对象”时，一般说的是女性，不指男性，不过现在sweetheart的用法比较普遍；
信函中用以表示“请向……致意”时，可用表达方式With love to ...；
fall in love with的用法：
表示一时的动作，所以不可用于完成时态。
He has fallen in love with her for years.
这样的表示是错误的。
该说He fell in love with her years ago。
fall in love with表示心理上的动作，没有表示的动作，对方不一定知道主语的心意。因此，就算they have fallen in love with each other，但因不知道对方的心意，未必“心心相印”。
fall in love with或be in love with还可用于非生命物体。
He fell into love with the idea at once.
She is quite in love with the garden.
love与like的比较：
作动词时，其语气强过like。
She likes him but doesn't love him.
她喜欢他，但不爱他。
love常用作like。
I love ice cream.
I love going to the cinema.
相同的是，两者后面都可接不定式或动名词。表示一时的爱好时，常接不定式，不接动名词。
He would like/love to dance with us tonight.
但是表示常时间的的爱好时，不定式或动名词都可接。但是动名词在表示简单的动作或情况时比不定式普遍，而不定式在表示复杂的情况时比动名词普遍。
