【词义辨析】
walk, stride, stroll, strut, pace, step,
walk: 最常用词，中性词，指除跑、跳之外所有移步的动作。
stride: 着重步子大而且节奏有力，流露出匆忙、烦恼、得意等情绪。
stroll: 多指走走停停，步子缓慢，悠闲自得，漫无目的。
strut: 指大摇大摆地走，含过分自信或自高自大意味。
pace: 指踱步，走步。
step: 多用来指“短步，台步或急步”。

【词语用法】
make后接不定式时的用法：
用在make+宾语+动词的不定式中时，动词前面不能加to，这时是“使、让某人（或某物）做”的意思。
I made her cry.
我让她哭了。
make在被动用法中，动词前必须要加上to。
She is made to repeat the whole story.
她被要求重述一遍整个故事。
但是如果make是单纯“制造”的意思，to不能省略。
He made our shoes to last.
他把我们的鞋做的结实耐穿。
另外，在谤语里make的宾语后面的不定式的to也不可省略。
Money makes the mare to go.
有钱能使鬼推磨。
当make用在make+宾语+过去分词/形容词时，是“使某人（或某物）怎么样”的意思。
I tried hard to make myself heard.
我努力让大家能听到我。
当make用在make+名词+名词的结构中：
如果两个名词没有明显的前后衍化关系，则表示“给某人（或某物）做什么”的意思.
She made him a birthday cake。
她给他做了一个生日蛋糕。
如有前后衍化关系，则表示“使某人（或某物）变得”。
You have made me a very happy man.
你让我变成了一个非常高兴得人。
当make指“由……制造出……”时，当制造出的东西可以辨别其材质时，用of。如果经过了化学变化，无法辨别材质，则用from。但是，有时候无法判断是否变化得辨别不出材质时，如面粉做成馒头，of或from都可用。

【错句举例与错句分析】

纠正：Together, they hope to leave a lasting legacy in the shape of a new world-class business school.
翻译：他们同心协力希望在建造世界一流商学院的历史上做出巨大贡献。
分析：legacy作为遗产，不能用make,是词语搭配的问题。
