现在无论你想做什么事儿，大到求职，小到如何去除衣服上的一块儿污渍，都能从网上找到各种tips。对于新年我们该如何制定自己的目标，如何去实现目标也有人帮我们整理了注意事项。其中一条是这样的：Don't run with the crowd and go with the usual resolutions. Instead think about what you really want out of life. 不要随大流制定普通的目标。思考你生命中真正渴望的东西。

首先我们了解一下单词bandwagon, 它的意思是乐队花车；宣传车；流行；潮流。那么, jump on the bandwagon，跳上了宣传车；跳到了流行浪潮里就是今天我们要介绍的短语了。比如这个小对话：

A: You look different today. Something I can’t tell but strange. 你今天看上去哪儿不太一样。我弄不太清楚，但是就觉得哪儿怪怪的。

B: The cosmetic contacts. Must be the cosmetic contacts. 美瞳。一定是美瞳的原因。

A: What? 什么？

B: That’s normal. I saw a college boy tried wearing grey cosmetic contacts yesterday. And that’s quite cool. So I suppose I may as well jump on the bandwagon. 这很正常啊。我还见过一个大学男生戴着灰色的美瞳呢。看上去挺酷的啊。我就琢磨着，我也可以赶赶时髦嘛。

再来看一个句子。

另外，在西方一些竞选活动中都会使用花车。所以，跳上花车也象征着支持某一方。比如：
